COMIC PANELS

COMIC PANELS

The panels can be used to represent time and motion in the comic. Various methods are observed in displaying time and motion.

PANELS

In some case the event can take multiple panels to display one image. The first row of images as well as the ones below reveal the shorter period of actions while the image above, which takes up three panels, emphasising the longer time.

MOTION

The motion also reveals in the panels above. The motion that shown in the panel is when the object, which in this case is the button, was thrown to the table. Though only one button was thrown, multiple buttons were visible, representing the motion without using the "motion line."

MOTION AND TIME

In the contrary, the panels above are the clear representation of the motion lines. The background clearly displays the suggestive motion lines while the fro ground, the electric and blood lines are seen as the main motion indicators. Additionally, the lines themselves in this comic provoke the feelings of violence and hostile by using the bloody, jagged and irregular lines. Another more obvious example in the display of time is also shown in the panels above. The bottom right clearly reveal the time of actions, in which four panels represent one second.
